Things to do this Fall

Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year. This means that families only have a small window of time to be able to truly enjoy the outdoors with all its colorful beauty. Goodwyn Building want to help you and the whole family to enjoy the beautiful outdoors before the time runs out. The weather will start to change very quickly and get colder. So here are some of the best ways to spend the remaining of this fall in the beauty of nature.

Hiking

The trees create a beautiful picture of exploding colors. When you couple that with the fresh brisk air it can help invigorate the family. There are a lot of different hikes in the area that will help allow you and the family to spend time together. Keep in mind that when you go on hikes its about taking your time and spending time with your family. There is a lot of beautiful wildlife roaming the forests. Make sure to stop and take a moment to take it all in with the family.

Pumpkin Picking

One of the best treats to make this fall while its chilly outside is pumpkin pie. However, don’t just settle for a pumpkin you can find at your local grocery store. Take your family out to a pumpkin patch and let the kiddos pick out a pumpkin together. After you pick the pumpkin go home and follow the recipes to make a pumpkin pie with the kids. Help them to carve out the pumpkin and roll out the pie dough. The result will be delicious!

Corn Maze

One of the best parts of fall is the fact that you can go to a corn maze. The kiddos that are older will have a blast with this if you take them while it’s dark out. However, if you have smaller kids then it’s best to take them while it is still light out. The maze will help you work together to find your way out. More than that though there is usually hay rides and barrel racing to help keep things lively. Take the family out to have a good time before the weather gets too cold for it.
