Cotton Lakes is an affordable community far from the city but close to all conveniences. It is a quaint community where all the neighbors feel safe strolling the streets, taking long walks or relaxing by the pool or one of the ponds.

Goodwyn Building builds affordable houses for the young couple just starting out, the growing family, the single mother, retirees, or possibly on the go people who are sick of apartment living. All the sections in Cotton Lakes have homes for sale on a pond, or you can build across the street if you enjoy the view of the pond but prefer to not live directly on the water.

Our community pool is well maintained and offered exclusively to the homeowners. All who choose to use the pool are provided a pool key with their deposit and any guests must at all times be accompanied by a home owner. The yearly dues are only $200 per year. The Wetumpka school district is considered by many one of the best and “least crowded” public school districts in Alabama. Children attending Wetumpka High School could even walk to school. Property taxes are still more than reasonable with anyone over the age of 65 receiving a full exemption.
